lACOSTE, FranceSolo Exhibit
Project Date: March 27th to May 22nd, 2025
Location: Lacoste, France
This exhibition brought together works created over the past two years—marking a kind of quiet culmination. The pieces come from three distinct bodies of work: In the Gaps Left Behind, Sexy AF, and In Full View.
Each series emerged at a different moment in my practice, shaped by shifting environments, evolving materials, and personal undercurrents.
Together, they trace a throughline—a tender but unflinching exploration of visibility, sensuality, memory, and presence. A way of holding space for all the selves I’ve been along the way.
Where We Gather
A sculptural fireplace mantel
This piece began with a question: What does it mean to take up space with warmth, not noise?
I grew up learning to stay small. To be good, quiet, precise. To disappear if I could. But through making—through architecture, furniture, and sculpture, I slowly began to return to myself. To presence.
This fireplace mantel is part of that return. It's not just a structure. It's a gesture. A merging of my three languages into one form that doesn’t ask for permission to exist, it just does.
It doesn’t perform utility in the traditional sense. It doesn’t need to. It holds space. It holds attention. It becomes a gathering point, not for heat, but for warmth. For belonging. For stillness.
In a world that often demands certainty and performance, this work offers quiet conviction. An invitation to gather without shrinking. A place to simply be.
This is Where We Gather.
